a polite reminder to myself

Aw geez, it's been a hot minute since I've made a post (almost a whole month!)
So, here's a little life update:
I FINISH NURSING SCHOOL NEXT WEEK
I still can't believe it.
It was on September 01, 2018 that I first stepped out of Philly's airport. Bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, terrified, and ready to start an education that would forever define my career.
Next week on September 06, 2019, I'll be graduating with another Bachelor's degree and pursuing my dreams of working in the OR. This 11-month nursing program really does move at neck-break speed. There's been a lot of highs, a lot of lows, and best of all, a lot of friends made during this program.

I created this blog to help be a creative outlet for me, and today's reminder to myself (hence the title) is that there are no rules to this thing. Part of me wanted to treat this blog as a little way to document my life, but another part of me wanted to treat this website as a professional portfolio. But here's the thing, I feel like if I were to treat my photo uploads as though I was here to only show off fine art, we'd all miss out on the fun and mundane aspects of my life.
So, occasional life blog it is! A way for me to record the whoos and bleghs. The ups and downs of life. And of course, any good light that catches my eye.
